Tata Nexon is one of India’s safest car with a 5-star rating. It recently got a facelift and looks more fresh from the outgoing model. Tata has announced the price for the new updated Nexon and it now starts at Rs 6.95 lakh for petrol and Rs 8.45 lakh for diesel, ex-showroom. Here we have a walk-around video of the top-end trim of the all new updated Nexon.
The video has been uploaded by AutoTrend TV. The video starts by showing the exterior of the facelifted Nexon. The Nexon now gets a totally revised front with sleek headlamps with projector type lights and LED DRLs in them. The DRLs get the tri-arrow design that we already saw on the Electric version of the Nexon. The bumper has been completely revised. It now looks muscular and has that SUVish stance to it. The grille now gets a gloss black strip with Tata logo in the centre. The bumper has been revised and it gets a skid plate and the air dam now gets tr-arrow inserts. The fog lamp area also has an inverted C type silver inserts.
side profile of the car also gets minor updates like new design for the alloy wheels, tri-arrow design on the side cladding and a revised roof rail. Same is the case with the rear. The rear now has clear lens tail lamps with tri-arrow shaped LED light and Nexon badging on the boot lid. The rear bumper has also bee revised with a skid plate and reflectors.
On the inside, the car gets a new steering wheel which is similar to the one seen on Altroz hatchback. The steering has audio and other control switches on the left, but misses out on cruise control feature. The cruise control, auto headlamps and rain sensing wipers are only available with XZ+(O) trim and the one in the video is the XZ+ trim. Apart from that the basic layout of the dashboard remains the same with tri-arrow inserts on the white gloss panel in the centre and the seats.
The instrument cluster has also been updated and now gets a fully digital unit across the range. It also gets a rear AC vent which was missing in the older version. Tata Nexon continues to get a 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engine that are now BS6 compliant. Both engines are available with 6 speed manual and AMT gearbox options.
