Maruti Suzuki has officially introduced the leasing service plans that have been launched as a pilot basis in two cities. The leasing program is now available in Bengaluru and Gurugram and cars from Maruti Suzuki Arena and Nexa are available with various tenure plans. If you do not want to buy a new car and do not want to spend on the maintenance, you can use the option to subscribe and use the vehicle for a pre-defined time period.
The brand will offer cars for a minimum of 24 months. Customers looking for a longer period can also choose between the 36 months and 48 months. Customers can also extend the leasing plans by sending a written request 30 days before the ongoing tenure is scheduled to end. Customers only need to pay a monthly subscription fee and no additional cost for servicing and other maintenance costs.
Maruti Suzuki leasing plans will offer cars on private (white coloured) number plates. This will ensure that the car does not look like a cab or a hired car. Also, private number plates mean that the customers will not have to stop on every state border to pay state tax.

The manufacturer has tied up with Orix Auto Infrastructure Services LTD, which is one of India’s leading leasing brands to provide the leasing options. For the leasing options, customers can walk into any of the Maruti Suzuki dealerships and book the car on leasing plan. The customer needs to make a security deposit, which depends on the car model. Also, a subscription booking amount and an advance subscription fee are charged. Followed by this, a monthly subscription charge needs to be paid.
Maruti Suzuki will provide brand-new cars under the leasing plan. All the cars under the leasing plan will be delivered within 15 days of the payment. All the customers will get the option to choose the colour of the vehicle they want to lease.
The brand will offer cars like Swift, Dzire, Ertiga and Vitara Brezza from the Arena line-up and Baleno, Ciaz, and XL6 from the Nexa line-up. Both manual and automatic variants will be available. The most affordable plan is of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, for which the customers need to pay Rs 27,144 per month.
Maruti Suzuki will do a background check and customers who are 25 years and older and are resident of India will be able to use these plans. Also, the customers need to have a valid driving license and a CIBIL score of 700 and above.
This is the first time that the brand has entered into the private leasing plans in India. Maruti Suzuki already offers leasing plans to the corporates.
