Hyundai is the second largest car manufacturer in the country after Maruti Suzuki. Hyundai has a wide range of vehicles in their line up and some of them are even the best selling ones in the segment. Hyundai India launched Grand i10 Nios in the market last year and is placed between regular Grand i10 and the Elite i20. Hyundai has now announced corporate edition models for the Grand i10 Nios hatchback and the prices for the same start at Rs 6.11 lakh, ex-showroom.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is available in Era, Magna, Sportz and Asta trims and the newly introduced Corporate Edition model is based on Magna trim. As this is a Corporate Edition model, it now offers more features than regular Magna trim. The features that the Corporate Edition comes with include a touchscreen infotainment screen. The regular Magna trim gets a 2-din audio system.

The touchscreen supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also comes with electric-folding ORVMs with turn indicators integrated in it, 15 inch steel wheels that resemble with the alloy wheels. One of the unique addition in the Nios Corporate Edition is the air purifier with HEPA filter. This is a feature that is currently not available in any other cars in the segment. No other trims of Grand i10 Nios also get this feature. Corporate Editon Nios also gets anti-bacterial and ant-fungal fabric for seats.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is a premium looking version of the regular Grand i10 and is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The regular Magna trim comes with manual gearbox as standard whereas the Corporate Edition gets an AMT option with petrol engine. The price for petrol manual version is Rs 6.11 lakh, ex-showroom whereas the petrol AMT and diesel manual are priced at Rs 6.64 lakh, ex-showroom and Rs 7.19 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively. With all these new additions, the price of Corporate Edition has gone up by Rs 19,000 in comparison to the regular Magna trim. This is a minor price increment.
The petrol version of Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is powered by a 1.2 litre, four-cylinder unit that makes 83 Ps and 114 Nm of torque. The diesel version is powered by a 1.2 litre unit that generates 75 Ps and 190 Nm of peak torque. It competes with cars like Maruti Suzuki Swift in the segment.
