The Hyundai Venue is one of the most popular sub-4 meter compact SUV in the segment. It competes with the likes of Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport in the sub-4 meter segment. It is the first car in the country to get the iMT gearbox. Hyundai recently launched a Sport trim for the Venue but, what if Hyundai plans to launch a Dark Edition for the Venue inspired by Tata Harrier’s Dark Edition?. That is what exactly we have here. Here we have a rendered image of Hyundai Venue that shows how the Dark Edition of this compact SUV could look like.

The pictures have been shared by 91 wheels on their website. One thing that must be noted here is that Hyundai has no intentions of launching a Dark Edition of this SUV and this is totally a product of artist’s imagination. The whole car gets a black paint job. The front grille where which had chrome elements have been completely blacked out too.

The lower part of the bumper where it used to get silver inserts also get a black shade. Everything except for the Hyundai logo on the grille has the chrome on it. Moving to the side profile, The cladding on the wheel arches get grey inserts and the door handles, roof rails and the dual tone machine cut alloy wheels have also been painted in black. Similar treatment is see at the rear as well. Venue badging, Hyundai logo and the variant badge is finished in chrome apart from that all the other elements on the car are blacked out.

No other changes or additions can be seen in the Venue. Hyundai Venue is a feature-rich compact SUV and offers a long list of features like any other Hyundai vehicle. It is available with a three engine options. There is a 1.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine that is available with a 7-speed DCT and an iMT gearbox option. The 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is available with a manual gearbox and the diesel version of the same SUV is powered by a 1.5 litre turbo diesel engines which is again powered by a 6-speed manual gearbox.
