SUV segment in India has been quite popular. Several manufacturers have entered this segment looking at the demand and many of them have also become the best sellers too. Hyundai and Kia Motors both have mid-size SUV in India and they are both quite popular. Hyundai has the 2020 Creta and Kia has the all-new Seltos here we have a video that compares the base diesel variant of the all new Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos SUV.
The video has been uploaded by Arun Panwar on his youtube channel. The video starts by showing the exterior of both the SUVs. They are both similar in terms of dimensions and use the same platform too. Hyundai Creta gets a wide front grille with some silver garnish on it. The chrome elements are not available as it is the base E variant. It gets a single projector type haedlamp, LED DRL and turn indicators on the lower part of the bumper. Base variant does not get fog lamps.

Kia Seltos also gets simple looking grille with no chrome inserts and fog lamps at the front. Both the SUVs gets steel rims and do not come with roof rails. Creta however gets electrically adjustable ORVMs with turn indicators integrated on it and Seltos gets a manually adjustable ORVM with turn indicator on side fender.
Creta gets a split LED element in the tail lamp whereas the Seltos gets regular conventional lights. On the inside, Creta gets base variants gets no infotainment screen at all whereas the Seltos comes with a music system. Apart from that Seltos gets multi function steering wheel whereas the Creta only gets control for the MID on the steering.
Both get fabric seats and Creta gets a dual tone interior with cooled glove box feature. Both cars do not offer parcel tray in base trims and they do not get adjustable headrest for rear passengers too. The Seltos is offering a sunglass holder, USB port for rear passenger and for the front which is missing in Creta base trim. Apart from that both SUVs offer similar amount of space on the inside but, the vlogger felt that the Seltos is a bit more interesting to drive.
Creta being a well established name in the market will definitely return much more value if anyone plans to sell it. In this comparison video, the vlogger was going for Creta only because of its futuristic looks and established name and service network. Kia Seltos is a new brand and feels like they might also establish themselves in the market like Hyundai in future.
