The Mahindra Bolero now gets a fully functional vacuum toiler, which you might have seen in the aeroplanes. The third row of the vehicle has been removed completely to make space for the toilet seat. The western-styled seat has been imported and is fitted side-facing in the vehicle. It is not only the toilet seat, the mini-washroom also gets faucets, soap dispenser and sanitizer to ensure good hygiene. There are two separate tanks for water. There is a tank that supplies freshwater and another tank collects wastewater, which can be reused. The tanks are made up of GRP coated aluminium, which will last for years without any kind of leak. Powering all the system is an elaborate 12V electric system that powers an electric pump too.
Similar toilets have been installed in the vanity van of Mammootty and Prithviraj too. Ojes Automobiles can install it any kind of car if the height of the roof is 40-inches or more from the floor of the vehicle. Also, these modifications are not permanent and can be removed whenever required.
From the outside, there are no changes to the vehicle and the last row windows have been covered with opaque curtains. There are many kinds of dry toilets and camping toilets that you can buy in the market. However, they need to be set-up before one can use it. The one in the Mahindra Bolero is ready to use whenever required.
