Hyundai is on a roll in the Indian market this year. After launching the all-new Aura and the all-new Creta, Hyundai is ready with its third all-new product – the Elite i20. The launch of the all-new Elite i20 is around the corner and just before the official launch, the car has started reaching the dealerships. Here are the first set of pictures of the all-new Hyundai Elite i20 parked at a dealership yard. This is the first time that the Indian-spec Elite i20’s cabin has been revealed too.

The all-new Hyundai Elite i20’s dashboard layout is similar to the international-spec version. However, there are a few changes. The first thing that you notice is a massive 10.25-inch infotainment system that is also available with the all-new Hyundai Creta. The instrument cluster looks very similar to the Hyundai Verna’s instrument cluster. The instrument cluster is different from the international-spec, which looks much more premium and colour. It is not known if the higher-end variants will offer a different instrument cluster compared to this but it seems to be a top-end spec.

The rest of the design looks very similar to the international-spec Hyundai Elite i20. The dashboard gets sleek AC vents that run wide and even the controls for the climate control system are identical to the international model.

On the outside, the Elite i20 looks identical to the international model. However, the car parked at the dealership is completely covered with the white tapes, which ensures that no one gets a view of it.

The Hyundai Elite i20 in a typical way will come loaded with a list of features. It will take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Tata Altroz in the market and will offer many segment-first features. Hyundai will offer the BlueLink connected car technology with the Elite i20 and there will be other options like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay too. The Elite i20 will also offer a wireless phone charger, a sunroof, cruise control system, automatic climate control system, ABS with EBD, parking sensors, a multi-information display and much more.

Hyundai will offer the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The naturally-aspirated petrol produces a maximum power of 83 PS and peak torque of 113 Nm. It will get a 5-speed manual transmission. While the turbocharged petrol engine generates a maximum power of 120 PS and peak torque of 172 Nm. It might get a 6-speed iMT but the 7-speed DCT is confirmed. The diesel variants will get 100 PS of maximum power and 240 Nm of peak torque. Only a six-speed manual transmission will be available with it.
