Toyota Inova Crysta is one of the most popular MPVs in the Indian market. It has been present in the market for a very long time and Toyota recently launched a facelifted version of Innova Crysta with cosmetic changes. The Innova Crysta is loved by customers for its premium looks, comfortable interiors, reliability and low cost of maintenance. Price for the facelifted version of Innova Crysta now starts at Rs 16.26 lakh, ex-showroom and go up to Rs 24.33 lakh, ex-showroom. Innova Crysta is one such MPV tht does not have a direct rival in the market. Now, Toyota has launched a set of genuine accessories for the facelifted Innova Crysta to enhance the look of it.
As part of the accessories, Toyota is now offering bumper corner protectors, wheel arc moulding, side steps, side beading, chrome garnish on door handles, rain visors and rear spoiler garnish. Apart from these accessories on the outside, it also gets welcome door lamps or as we call it puddle lamps, wireless charger, digital video recorder or dashcam and tyre pressure monitoring system as accessories.
Coming back to the Innova itself, it has undergoe several cosmetic change as part of the facelift. It now gets a wider and deeper front grille with chrome outline and gloss black interior. The bumper has been slightly redesigned as the fog lamps are now placed right next to the faux skid plate. The turn indicators get a triangle shape and a black garnish is also seen around it. The headlights are of the same design but, they now come with LED DRLs. Coming to the side profile, the design of the MPV remains unchanged. What has changed however, is the alloy wheels which get a new design.

The Interiors of the Innova Crysta have also been updated. The interiors now get a touchscreen infotainment screen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The screen also shows the feed from rear parking camera. The seats now get a different colour upholstery. Other than that almost everything else in the facelift version is as same as before. It offers features like rear AC, ambient lighting, 12V socket and so on.
It is powered by the same set of engines. It uses a 2.7 litre petrol engine that generates 168 Ps and 245 Nm of torque. The 2.4 litre diesel engine generates 150 Ps and 360 Nm of peak torque. Both petrol and diesel versions are BS6 compliant and are available with manual and automatic gearbox options.
Toyota is also working on launching a facelifted version of Fortuner SUV in the market. Just like Innova Crysta, Fortuner will also get number of cosmetic changes like LED headlamps, wider grille and so on. The Fortuner will also get updated features like 360 degree camera, updated touchscreen infotainment screen and interiors. With the facelifted version of Fortuner, Toyota is expected to bring the more powerful 2.8 litre diesel engine to India. Along with the regular Fortuner, Toyota will also be bringing the premium looking Legender version to India. Fortuner is expected to launch earlier next year and Legender will follow soon after it.
