Tata has finally launched the much-awaited Dark Editions of the Nexon, Harrier, Nexon EV and the Altroz. The new variants are available at the dealerships and booking are also open. The company has also introduced exclusive merchandise which is #DARK branded T-Shirts and leather jackets. Tata Motors will also be offering a tyre puncture repair kit with their vehicles.
Mr. Vivek Srivatsa, Head Marketing, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors said on the launch of the Dark Edition variants, “Harrier #Dark which was launched as a limited edition product initially, did extremely well and on popular customer demand became an integral part of the Harrier portfolio. It offered an exciting & unique package to the customers. We are confident that the extended dark range is equally compelling and cater to customers who are looking for bold & stylish cars this festive season.”

Harrier Dark: Rs. 18.04 lakhs ex-showroom
Tata Harrier was the first product to come with a Dark Edition variant. It was supposed to be a limited edition product but it did extremely well. Due to this, Tata Motors decided to keep the new variant. Now, they have updated the Harrier’s Dark Edition with some cosmetic upgrades. The side profile used to have a chrome strip that used to go along the window line, the manufacturer has decided to black-out that too. The Harrier now comes with 18-inch Blackstone alloy wheels. Earlier, it was offered only with a 17-inch one. This gives a more sporty and aggressive stance to the SUV.
The roof liner and the sun visors are also now finished in black. Tata is using Benecke Kaliko Leatherette upholstery that has tri-arrow perforations with deep blue elements in it and there is #DARK embroidery in the front headrests. The Dark Edition will be sold in XT+, XZ+ & XZA+ variants of Tata Harrier.
Altroz Dark: Rs. 8.71 lakhs ex-showroom
The Altroz is one of the best looking premium hatchbacks that you can buy in the Indian market. It is also Tata’s first attempt at a premium hatchback. Tata has also introduced Dark Edition with the Altroz. It will be available only in the top trim and the colour is known as Cosmo Black. The alloy wheels are also finished in a dark tint and they measure 16-inches in size. It also comes with piano-black elements in the interior and the leather upholstery has tri-arrow perforations in deep Blue colour. The front headrests also get #DARK embroidery. The Altroz Dark Edition will be available only with XZ+ variant and you can have it with the naturally aspirated petrol engine or the turbo petrol engine.
Nexon: Rs. 10.40 lakhs ex-showroom
The Nexon is one of the best looking compact SUVs because of its Land Rover-like front-end. The Dark Edition comes with new 16-inch Charcoal Black alloy wheels. The exterior gets Sonic Silver highlights along with Matte Granite Black cladding. The interior is also finished in black theme with leather upholstery and tri-arrow perforations. The Dark Edition will be available in XZ+, XZA+, XZ+(O) & XZA+(O) variants.
Nexon EV: Rs. 15.99 lakhs ex-showroom
Tata Motors has also introduced Dark Edition with the Nexon EV. It is already the best selling electric vehicle in the Indian market. The exterior is finished in Midnight Black colour with Satin Black humanity line and beltline. You still get some blue highlights and EV badging finished in blue. The interior now comes with black leather upholstery with tri-arrow perforations and EV blue stitching. It also comes with a tyre pressure monitoring system now. The Dark Edition will be offered with XZ+ and the XZ+ LUX variant. The XZ+ variant now will also come with a rear armrest with cupholders, 60:40 split seats and adjustable rear headrests.
