Showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo, the Renault Duster facelift has been launched in India. With an updated styling and an optional AMT gearbox, the compact SUV will now have a wider appeal than before.

Renault Duster Facelift

The vehicle gets a total of 32 changes including updated front-end styling (similar to the Brazil spec version with new alloy wheels and roof rails), slightly updated interior (new centre console), new taillamp cluster, and a new Cayenne Orange colour. Mechanically the vehicle remains unchanged, comes in both petrol (1.6-liter unit) and diesel (1.5-liter unit in two states of tune: 85 PS and 110 PS) options, but also gets an optional 6-speed AMT automatic gearbox (Easy-R in Renault speak) on the 110 PS diesel unit. The AWD variant is still positioned atop the range, and doesn’t get the said gearbox.

Prices for the base petrol version RXE start at Rs 8,46,999, while the Standard diesel (one spec lower than RXE) is available for Rs 9,26,999 onwards. The Duster AWD is available only in the top-spec trim, and is priced at Rs 13,56,999. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi. In comparison the outgoing Duster is priced at Rs 8.31 lakh onwards.
