Next up on the launch roster of Maruti Suzuki is the sub-compact sedan based on the Swift hatchback – the new Dzire. Soon after the launch of the new Swift, the company will be launching the new Dzire around the middle of 2024. Like the Swift, we can expect a premium over the pricing of the current generation Dzire. Presently, the Dzire starts at Rs 6.52 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.39 lakh.
Now coming to the changes, the Dzire will also get a new modernized exterior and an updated interior. It has been reported that the Dzire will be becoming the first car in the sub-compact sedan segment to offer an electric sunroof. Currently, it competes with the likes of the Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura.
2024 eVX electric SUV
Around the month of October, the company will be officially launching its first-ever mass-market all-electric SUV, the eVX, in India. This new EV SUV will compete with the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV and also the Mahindra XUV.e9. The Maruti Suzuki eVX is expected to offer two battery pack options. The first will be a smaller 48 kWh unit for the lower trims and a 60 kWh unit for the higher variants. It is believed that it will come loaded with features like a large infotainment screen, 360-degree camera, ADAS, and more. The SUV is estimated to be priced at around Rs 23 lakh and above.
2024 Grand Vitara 7-seater
Fourth on this list is the extended wheelbase 7-seater version of the already popular compact SUV, the Grand Vitara. In order to take on rivals like the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and Hyundai Alcazar, Maruti Suzuki is gearing up for the launch of the 7-seat iteration of the Grand Vitara. As per the reports, the company has given this SUV the codename Maruti Y17. The SUV could also receive some stylistic changes to give it a more distinctive appearance and set it apart from its two-row sibling. Most likely, it will get the same interior and powertrain options as the outgoing Grand Vitara compact SUV.
Suzuki Spacia-based MPV
Last on this list is the affordable MPV based on Suzuki Spacia, a small Japanese MPV. At the moment, the exact launch date for this SUV has not been revealed; however, reportedly, it will be launched around the end of 2024.
