Here we have a video where a YouTuber from Delhi decided to travel all the way to Kerala to take delivery of his brand-new Land Rover Defender. What makes this video different is how he arrived at the dealership. He, along with his dad, arrived at the dealership arrived in an auto to pick up their new SUV worth crores.
The video has been shared by Jatt Prabhjot on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger, along with his family, is in Kerala, Kochi. They have traveled all the way from Delhi to pick up their new SUV – a Land Rover Defender from Kerala. The vlogger dresses up in traditional Kerala attire for the occasion.
He waits for his friends to arrive, and they later travel to the dealership in their car. As they were about to reach the dealership, the vlogger and his father get out of the car and hail an autorickshaw. The vlogger mentions that it was his dream to arrive at a dealership to take delivery of an expensive car in either a truck loaded with vegetables or in an autorickshaw.
As he couldn’t find a truck at the spot, he went ahead with the auto. The auto driver dropped the father-son duo at the dealership. The auto driver dropped them inside the dealership premises and went away. The vlogger then walked in with his father and started completing all the paperwork.
After finishing the paperwork, they started waiting for a document to arrive from the RTO. Although they have bought this SUV from Kerala, they are getting it registered in Delhi. Once the paperwork was done, the family unveiled the luxury SUV. The YouTuber has opted for the Black shade which looks extremely good on the new Defender. He has bought the Defender 110.
The current generation Defender was launched in the market a few years ago. It became an instant hit in the market. Defender is an iconic SUV known for its off-roading capabilities. What made the new generation Defender different was that it could do off-roading without compromising on the comfort factor.
It comes with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment screen, a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster, automatic climate control, a head-up display, a wireless phone charger, connected car features, a premium speaker system from Meridian, electrically adjustable front seats, electronic air suspension that can be raised at the touch of a button, a 360-degree camera, heated front seats, blind-spot assist, front and rear parking sensors, six airbags, ABS, traction control, leather upholstery, rubber flooring, and more.
Land Rover offers the Defender SUV in 90, 110, and 130 variants. The 3-door version is known as the Defender 90, the 5-door version is the Defender 110, and there is a three-row version of the SUV known as the Defender 130.
The YouTuber has bought the 110 variant. The Land Rover Defender is available with 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter petrol engines, as well as a 3.0-liter diesel engine. Last year, the manufacturer also introduced a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine option for both the Defender 110 and 90 versions. All these engine choices come with an automatic transmission as standard. The vehicle features a permanent 4WD system with a locking center differential and active rear-locking differentials.
