Muhammad Kutty Panaparambil Ismail, more commonly known as Mammootty, is one of the biggest names in the Malayalam movie industry. Mammootty, apart from being a phenomenal actor, is also a true automotive enthusiast. He and his son, Dulquer Salmaan, together own some of the best enthusiast cars available in the country. Recently, Mammootty was spotted arriving at a hotel in his son’s classic Land Rover Defender 110 TD5.

The video of Mammootty arriving at this hotel in a classic Land Rover Defender 110 has been shared on Instagram by Dq_Cars_369 on their page. This page extensively covers most of the cars owned by the father-son duo of Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan.
In this video, the 72-year-old Malayalam superstar is seen arriving at a hotel in this Land Rover Defender 110. Mammootty’s Defender was followed by a Toyota Innova Hycross. After this, his SUV stopped at the porch of the hotel, and he then exited the SUV. It can be seen that a number of people were standing at the entrance to welcome him.
Previous generation Land Rover Defender 110
Upon further digging, we have found that this particular Land Rover Defender 110 is actually owned by Dulquer Salmaan. This particular SUV, as mentioned above, is from the previous generation of the Defender, which was available for sale until 2016. The one seen in the video is a 2012 model year car.
It has also been found that Dulquer Salmaan is the third owner of this car. Most likely, he got this vehicle completely restored after taking delivery of it. This is not the only Land Rover Defender owned by Dulquer. He also owns a new generation Land Rover Defender as well. The newer model is finished in a unique Tasman Blue color.
Coming back to this particular Defender spotted with Mammootty, it is powered by a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 121 bhp and 361 Nm of torque. It comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 4X4 system as well.
Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan’s car collection
Apart from the Land Rover Defender duo, both Mammootty and Dulquer Salmaan own a number of other popular enthusiast cars. The list includes a Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 SUV, a Porsche Panamera Turbo, a 997 Porsche 911 Carrera S, a 991.2 Porsche 911 GT3, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, a BMW 7 Series, and a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG.
Apart from this, Dulquer Salmaan recently bought himself a brand-new Ferrari 296 GTB. It is powered by a 2.9-liter V6 engine paired with an electric motor. This hybrid powertrain makes a total power of 818 PS.
Additionally, Mammootty also recently bought himself the Mercedes-Benz AMG A45 S hot hatchback. This tiny yet powerful hatchback is finished in a lovely shade of Magma Orange. This hatchback is priced at Rs 1.1 crore (on-road) and it is one of the fastest hatchbacks in the country.
It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that generates 415 Bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
