Tata Motors launched the Dark Edition version of their much loved compact SUV, Nexon on March 4, 2024. This edition comes with some cosmetic changes including an all-blacked out interior and exterior. The Dark Edition is available in a total of five variants: Creative, Creative Plus, Creative Plus S, Fearless, and Fearless Plus S. Let’s understand about the Creative Plus S variant of the SUV with the help of a YouTube video.

The video is uploaded by Fuel Injected on YouTube and humorously titled ‘Sonet Darna Mat’ (Sonet don’t be scared). The car shown in the video is the Creative Plus S variant of the Nexon Dark Edition. The Creative Plus S trim is available at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 12.30 lakhs for the petrol and Rs. 14.05 lakhs for the diesel.

The host starts with the exterior look of the vehicle. Overall, the car looks the same as the regular Nexon with the only change being all-blacked out elements and the black color options.

Finished in a beautiful shade of Oberon Black, no chrome elements can be seen on the vehicle giving it a stealth and mafia look. The car retains its sharp edges, sleek DRLs and the LED projector headlight setup along with the big black grille.

The Nexon Dark Edition is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both the engines come paired with a six-speed manual or AMT. The petrol engine produces 120 PS of peak power and 170 Nm of peak torque while the diesel engine pumps out 115 PS of peak power and 250 Nm of peak torque. Not every variant of the Nexon Dark Edition offers the option of AMT (Automatic Manual Transmission).
