Ford has tied up with eCommerce platform Amazon to sell the EcoSport Facelift. The bookings for the facelifted EcoSport will open for 24 hours on the 5th of November. There is a catch though. Only 123 people will be able to book the compact SUV on Amazon. So, you better hurry if you want to be the first to receive the facelifted model. The booking amount is Rs. 10,000, and customers will be able to book all the colours/variants of the facelifted EcoSport on the eCommerce platform.
Once the bookings are done, Amazon will send details of the customer to the nearest dealer, who will take the process forward. The dealer will get in touch with the customer for other buying formalities, and will also deliver the vehicle. The facelifted EcoSport will be launched officially on the 9th of September. Prices will be announced on the day of launch. Everything else about the facelifted model, including the variants on offer are already known. Only pricing remains to be announced.
The facelifted EcoSport will be offered with 2 engine options – the 1.5 liter-3 cylinder ‘Dragon’ petrol and the 1.5 liter-4 cylinder turbocharged TDCI diesel. The petrol engine produces 123 Bhp-150 Nm, and gets 5 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox options. The diesel engine produces 98.6 Bhp and 215 Nm, and gets a 5 speed manual gearbox as standard. Both engines drive the front wheels of the car. Twin airbags and ABS will be standard across the variants.
The facelifted EcoSport offers features such as cruise control, automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, 6 airbags, paddle shifters, hill hold assist and ESP (on the automatic variants), SYNC3 infotainment touchscreen console with voice commands, Apple CarPlay and AndroidAuto, reverse parking camera and 17 inch alloy wheels on the top-end Titanium+ variant.
