Tata Nexon is the official partner of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). After Tata officially unveiled the Mumbai Indian edition of the Nexon, car enthusiasts have started taking inspiration and modify the Nexon inspired by the logo of their favourite team. Here is one more customisation option that is inspired by the Delhi Daredevils.
The visually modified version of the Nexon gets red accents, which forms the base colour of the Delhi Daredevil logo too. The red wrap can be seen on the front air diffuser, fog lamp housing, and a part of the grill too. The roof starting from the A-pillar also gets a red wrap. The matte-finish two-tone colour looks quite good on the vehicle with the silver colour on the base. From the side, the Nexon alloy wheels also get red highlights on alloy wheels. The logo of Delhi Daredevils can be seen on either side of the Nexon too. At the rear, the bumper inserts also get red inserts to match the overall looks of the vehicle.
Mechanically, the car remains same. Tata Nexon has become quite popular in the Indian market and gets a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol and a 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine options. Both the engine options produce a maximum of 108 Bhp but the petrol engine churns out a maximum of 170 Nm torque while the diesel engine produces a maximum of 260 Nm. Both get a manual 6-speed transmission. Tata has recently launched the petrol and diesel AMT versions of the Nexon.
Even though Tata unveiled the official Mumbai Indian version of the Nexon earlier this month, it is not clear if the car will be available for sale. For people who want to get their cars painted in their favourite team colours can get a wrapping job done as shown in this video.
