Royal Enfield motorcycles are a hot favourite of motorcycle customizers across the country. Their old-school design and simple construction make it fairly easy for motorcycle customizers to enhance the aesthetic appeal of these machines. Among the latest Royal Enfield motorcycles to go under the scalpel of a customizer is this Royal Enfield Electra 350. Modified by Delhi-based Neev Motorcycles, this Electra has been renamed as ‘Shandaar’.
Well, this modified motorcycle does look pretty ‘Shandaar’ with the set of basic but ever effective mods it carries. The motorcycle has been given a custom red paint job and some new decals. Up front, it gets a custom headlamp cowl, custom LED headlamp, and a new fender. The updated fuel tank gets a repositioned fuel-filler cap. The side boxes have been carried over but the original seat has been replaced with a stepped unit. The original spoke wheels of the motorcycle have been replaced with multi-spoke mag wheels that have been shod with wider rubber. Another highlight of the side profile of the Royal Enfield Shandaar is the custom exhaust that gives this Electra a very American cruiser motorcycle-like appearance. There’s also a backrest for the rear pillion seat. The rear is characterized by a custom fender and a smaller taillight.
Overall, this handful of small updates come together pretty well to give this Electra an altogether new identity. To the unsuspecting road users, this custom Electra can easily pass off for a Harley Davidson or some other international retro-style motorcycle. It’s not known if the Royal Enfield Shandaar motorcycle carries any performance modifications. In its stock form, the now-discontinued Royal Enfield Electra 350 came with a 346cc, single-cylinder, carburettor-fed engine that produces a maximum power of 19.8 bhp at 5,250 RPM along with a peak torque of 28 Nm at 4,000 RPM. Like we just said, it’s not known if this modified Electra carries any sort of performance modification. But what’s for sure is that the ‘Shandaar’ from Neev Motorcycles looks much more attractive than a stock Royal Enfield Electra 350 motorcycle. What do you think?
