The petrol-manual cars will be sold in Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims, while the petrol-automatic cars will be offered in Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims.

The diesel-powered variants of the car will continue in Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims. The petrol  engine on the facelifted Ciaz will be a 1.5 litre K-Series unit, with 104 Bhp-138 Nm. A 5 speed manual gearbox will be standard, along with a 4 speed torque converter automatic option.

The petrol engine will also get the Suzuki Hybrid Vehicle System (SHVS) mild hybrid, making the Ciaz India’s first C Segment sedan to go hybrid, even if not in the truest sense. The diesel engine will continue to be offered with the SHVS mild hybrid, just like the outgoing model.

The Ciaz Diesel will use a 5 speed manual gearbox. The addition of the SHVS will make the facelifted Maruti Ciaz the most fuel-efficient car in its class. Other key changes on the car include a stylistic makeover with a new front and rear end styling, revised alloy wheels, and of course additional features on the inside.
