The Mahindra Alturas G4 is all set to be revealed on 24th November and will be the most premium SUV by the company yet. Just yesterday we brought you the exclusive production ready spyshots of the Alturas and today we have some spyshots which reveal the interiors of the car fully. By the look of it, we can say that Mahindra has really worked on the SUV and wants to make it a successful product.
As evident from the picture above, the interiors are quite premium to look at. The wood finish on the dash along with the silver accents give a touch of class to the cabin. The main theme of the cabin is black with reddish brown shade which has been implemented really well. Note that the final production car may differ a little bit in terms of interior design/feature. The interiors are proportioned well and nothing feels out of place. The steering wheel is a typical Mahindra unit and looks quite chunky.
The centre portion of the dashboard is taken by a big touchscreen infotainment system which will come with Apple car play and Android Auto support. There are a plethora of buttons on the centre console which may be somewhat confusing for some people. The automatic gear lever looks classy too. Good quality material adorn the whole place and many its have been done in piano black finsih
The door pads as seen in the picture have a diamond quilted pattern and look premium. There is also a white stitched line going from door handle to the sill. The silver speaker grille is seen on the bottom right corner of the door pad. The door handles and surrounding bits have been finished in silver, giving a good contrast to the cabin
The rear seats are wide and comfy and carry the same black-reddish brown theme carried over the whole cabin. They seem to be well bolstered with good thigh and lumbar support. Going by the picture, the legroom in the rear bench of the Alturas seems to be ample and the passengers won’t feel low on space.
The Alturas gets powered by a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates a maximum of 187 Bhp of power and 420 Nm peak torque. The engine will be mated to a 7-speed torque converter transmission sourced from Mercedes-Benz. It will rival the Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour upon launching.
