The exact changes are not known and have not been revealed by the manufacturer officially, however, from the pictures, it seems that the changes include a new front bumper with reshaped headlamps. The rear may also get minor tweaks. On the inside, Skoda may make a few changes to keep the interiors up to date. However, there will no major changes in the vehicle.
The new Skoda Superb will be the first-ever vehicle from the brand to get plug-in hybrid set-up. The details of the hybrid terrain are not known yet but the hybrid powertrain is expected to be offered only with the petrol engine. The current version of Skoda Superb is powered by both petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variants get powered by a 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine. It generates a maximum power of 177 Bhp and a peak torque of 320 Nm. The engine comes paired to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission.
