The Indian car market will see a lot of new launches over next few months. Many all-new cars will replace the current models and a few others will get more powerful variants. If you are in the market looking for a new car, don’t take a decision before going through our list.
Maruti Ritz ->> Ignis
The Ritz has been around since a very long time in the Indian market and is due for an update. The Ignis, that was showcased at the Auto Expo this year, will replace the Ritz. The Ignis looks nothing the Ritz and also comes with the SHVS hybrid system. The engine options will be either 1.2-litre petrol K12B engine and 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine with the mild hybrid. The car may also feature a CVT gearbox in the petrol model and will be launched later this year.
Hyundai Elantra ->> All-new Elantra
The new, better, bigger Elantra is coming this month. The design of the all-new Elantra has been changed completely and the car gets new engine options. For the petrol variant, the car gets a 2.0-litre engine that produces 149 Bhp. The 1.6-litre diesel engine from the current Elantra will be carried from the current Elantra. The engine produces 126 Bhp. Apart from a manual transmission, the petrol variant is expected to come with 7-speed dual clutch transmission while a conventional automatic will be offered with the diesel variants.
Skoda Rapid ->> New Rapid
The new Rapid is coming with a new face and the new car has been caught testing numerous times in India. The new Rapid looks sharper now with redesigned bonnet, new fog lamps, new ORVMs, new alloy wheels and new tail lamp cluster. The will continue to get power from current engine options that include 103 Bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine and same power generation 1.5-litre diesel engine. The car will available with both 5-speed manual and 7-speed DSG automatic options.
Audi A4 ->> All-new A4
The all-new Audi A4 is coming to India very soon and the new car looks nothing less than brilliant. The car gets the all-new engine in the form of 1.4-litre TFSI turbocharged petrol unit that produces a maximum of 148 Bhp. The diesel unit will remain the same as the current 2.0-litre engine that produces a maximum of 174 Bhp of maximum power. Both the engines will get a new 8-speed dual clutch transmission.
Toyota Etios –> New Etios
The new Etios has been spotted in India with a new grille and new interiors. Most highlighted changes are the grille, revised bumper, and new alloy wheels. The interior changes include new infotainment system, new steering wheel design, cruise control, the instrument cluster has also been changed but the position remains same the current model, which is in the middle of the dashboard. The car will use the current engine options that are 1.5-litre petrol and 1.4-litre diesel engine options. The car will come around during the festive season.
Chevrolet Beat –> New Beat
The new Beat will soon come to India in the form of Beat Activ and the car has been caught testing multiple times. The car was showcased as a concept during Auto Expo and it looks butch when compared with the current model.
The features and engine options will remain the same as the current models.
