Tata Motors launched the Harrier in January this year and with it, the manufacturer introduced to the world what it calls the IMPACT 2.0 design philosophy. Several upcoming Tata cars like the Cassini, Blackbird, Altroz, Hornbill along with the new version of the Nexon will all sport the same design language. Now the Harrier is one great looking SUV and if that is how things will be for Tata in future, we can’t be but happy for our automotive industry. On the same note though, we wonder how the oldies like the Sierra and Sumo would look like with the IMPACT 2.0 design on them. For the same, we reimagined 5 Tata cars on the basis of how they would look like with the IMPACT 2.0 design language. Let’s now check them out and see how would they look if the company decides to put them to production.
Tata Sierra
The Tata Sierra was one of the first India made SUVs and was considered ahead of its time. With the IMPACT 2.0 sauce on it, this modern Sierra looks quite good. The three-door SUV gets LED DRL and headlights in swapped positions on the front which makes it look smart. As was the case with the Sierra, the large glasshouse at the rear has been retained. The SUV now rides on stylish rims shod on with low-profile tires. So if this is how it’s going to look, we definitely want Tata to consider making the Sierra again.
Tata Winger
The Tata Winger had never looked so hot. This regular people’s mover has been transformed into an ultra-hot mob van that oozes drama. The IMPACT 2.0 design gives it a whole new appearance and makes it a desirable vehicle to own. The front end, in particular, looks uber hot and gives it a Mafia-like badass appeal. Rest of the job is done by those gorgeous 5 spoke rims and the low slung stance of the vehicle.
Tata Sumo
The Tata Sumo is one of the most popular utility vehicles in India. Made by Tata since what seems to be an eternity, the Sumo found takers from all walks of life. Though it is counting its least breathes now, the render above shows how it may turn out to be if Tata updates it with the new design. among the oldest SUVs in the market currently. However, it has started to show its age and it’s time that Tata should give it an update. The one featured above for sure looks hot with the IMPACT 2.0 design on it.
Tata Estate
The Tata Estate was one of the earliest station wagons on sale in India had during the 1990s. The design of this Tata Estate takes a classy approach with clean lines all around instead of radical looks. The concept of Station Wagons or Estates has never been successful in India but with a car this cool, we’re sure that people will be ready to empty their pockets on it. The 2.0-litre KRYOTEC engine will suit the bill here and if produced, the Tata Estate will be built on the OMEGA Platform that under the Harrier.
Tata Safari Storme
The Tata Safari is one SUV that needs no introduction. During its golden days, the Safari was the choice of vehicle for a majority of the SUV loving fraternity and it still has a loyal fan base. Had Tata kept updating the Safari, we are sure it would have beaten the new arrivals in the mid-size SUV segment. So we thought how would it look like with the IMPACT 2.0 magic weaved over it and the results for sure are enticing. The above render shows how the Tata Safari Storme will look with IMPACT 2.0 design over it. It looks sleeker and much more macho than the current variant and carries the typical new-age SUV glamour with it.
