Moto Guzzi, a premium brand under the Piaggio flagship will bring the V9 Bobber and v9 Roamer later this month. Both the motorcycles will be imported to India as CBUs (Completely Built Units).
Moto Guzzi was present at this year’s Auto Expo and showcased both the motorcycles there. The new V9 series was launched by the Italian brand to cater the global growing demand for mid-size motorcycles.
Based on the design of classic motorcycles, the Italian cruisers have characteristics of their own. They have a very upright seating posture and come with wide handlebars and narrow seat. The long elongated fuel tank completes the cruise look of the motorcycle.
Both the motorcycles are built around the same platform are powered by a V-Twin engine. The 853cc engine produces a maximum power of 54 Bhp and 62 Nm of torque. Both the models come with 6-speed manual transmission.
The motorcycles will be lined-up against the Harley Davidson Iron 883 and Triumph Street Twin and will be sold through Piaggio’s MotoPlex multi-brand showrooms.
Both the motorcycles will be priced above Rs. 10 lakh.
