MG Hector SUV gets its interiors heavily TRANSFORMED for just Rs. 30,000 [Video]

MG Hector was launched in Indian market earlier this year and has become quite popular. It became so popular that MG had to stop taking the bookings as they were not able meet the demand . MG Motors recently resumed booking for Hector in October and the response from people remains the same. The Hector is a bold looking SUV and is now a common sight on our roads. People who have already got their Hector are also modifying them. Here is one such video by Vlogger Amaan showing how a base trim MG Hector got its interiors modified to look more premium.

The car in the video is a base model hector and is getting its interiors customised. The owner of the car chosen a red theme for the car which goes well with the black seats with red stitching. The Steering wheel, gear boot, arm rest, door pads all get red leather finish. The air-con vents on this vehicles also get a red colour carbon fibre finish which makes it more appealing. The roof on this Hector is also completely redone and gets a red colour fabric on it.

Another customisation made is the infotainment system. The base model of the Hector does not get the High end Tesla like touchscreen infotainment system. So, the owner had opted for a touchscreen infotainment system from Blaupunkt which is paired to the company fitted speakers in the Hector. It also has JBL bass tube which is fitted in the large boot at the rear.

Mg Hector Modified Interiors Featured

The final product after all the customisation is an upmarket looking MG Hector and the whole process was done in just one day. The cost modifying the interiors of base model Hector was around Rs 32,000.

MG offers both petrol and diesel engine options with the SUV. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine generates a maximum of 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The diesel engine, on the other hand, is a 2.0-litre Multijet unit that produces a maximum of 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. MG is also offering a 48V hybrid system as an optional feature with the top three petrol variants.

MG is also planning to launch a 7-seater version of the Hector SUV to compete with the upcoming Tata Buzzard. They will also be launching an all-electric SUV eZS in the market soon.
