Tata Motors had launched the updated BS6 version of the Nexon earlier this year. It is currently one of the safest SUV in the country with 5 Start rating at Global NCAP. It is currently competing with cars like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport and recently launched Kia Sonet. Tata has been constantly coming up with feature updates on their SUVs. One of the recent updates that it received was the addition of a new trim XMS. It offers all the features of XM trim with some additional features. Here we have a video that shows what all is offered in this trim.
The video has been uploaded by Tarun Shandilya on his youtube channel. The video shows a Tata Nexon XMS trim with accessories at the dealerships. The car seen in the video has accessories like Alloy wheels, door visor, door handle chrome garnish and parcel tray in it. The overall cost of these accessories as seen in the video is around Rs 43,000.

The vlogger then shows the car from outside. It is a regular XM trim Nexon if all the accessories are removed. It gets a single projector headlamp with LED DRL and turn indicators on the lower part of the bumper. XMS does not get fog lamps but, interested buyers can install it as an accessory if needed. The side profile shows, black ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, door visors and the dual tone alloy wheels.
The rear of the of the Nexon looks similar to the other trims with split LED tail lamps and Nexon badging and parking sensors. Nexon on the inside gets features like power windows, regular music system with Bluetooth connectivity and microphone. It gets electrically adjustable ORVMs and other regular features like digital instrument cluster, fabric seats and manual AC and so on. What makes Nexon XMS special is that it comes with a sunroof. This makes Tata Nexon, the cheapest SUV in the segment to offer a Sunroof.
Tata Nexon is available with BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol version is powered by a 1.2 litre turbo petrol engine whereas the diesel version gets 1.5 litre unit. Both petrol and diesel are available with a manual and an AMT gearbox option depending up on the variants.
