Toyota Fortuner is one of the most popular SUVs from Japanese manufacturer in India and around the world. Toyota has been working on a facelifted version of Fortuner for quite some time and it has been spotted testing on our roads several times and is expected to be launched in the Indian earlier next year. It is a proper SUV that currently competes with cars like Ford Endeavour, Mahindra Alturas G4 and recently launched MG Gloster. The facelifted version of the Toyota Fortuer has already been launched in Southeast Asian market. According to Team-Bhp, some Toyota dealers have unofficially started taking bookings for the facelifted Fortuner. The production for current version Fortuner is said to be stopped. Here we have a video that shows facelifted Fortuner SUV doing a 0-100 kmph sprint in under 10 seconds.
The video has been uploaded by PDriveTV on their youtube channel. The video starts by showing the new facelifted Fortuner inside out. It has got several cosmetic changes in comparison to the current version that is available in India. After he is done with the walkaround, the vlogger takes it on a smooth set of tarmac to conduct acceleration and braking test.

International version of Fortuner is available with a 2.8 litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates 201 Ps of power and 500 Nm of peak torque. It is not known whether we would be getting the same engine here in India as well. In the acceleration test, Toyota Fortuner did a 0-100 kmph sprint in just 9.80 seconds which is commendable for a car of this size. He also conducts a braking test where he brings the Fortuner to a halt from 100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds.
Toyota Fortune has received number of tweaks as part of the update. The front receives a redesigned grille with sleek looking headlamps. The bumper has been redesigned too. The foglamp garnish gets a black cladding with LED fog lamps around it. Dual function LED DRLs.Apart from that, the design of the SUV remains the same. It has an LED tail light which looks quite premium on it. The interiors of the new Fortuner has also been updated. It will get an updated infotainment system, 360 degree camera and
Toyota Fortuner in India comes with a both 2WD and 4WD options. It is available with a 2.8 litre turbodiesel engine and a 2.7 litre petrol engine. Both petrol and diesel version is available with manual and automatic transmission options. With all these updates in place, prices of the updated Fortuner is expected to go up.
