Bolero is currently the oldest model still in production in Mahindra’s line-up. Bolero is still popular among buyers and that is the reason why Mahindra is coming up with minor updates on MPV constantly. Bolero has always been a no nonsense, pure utilitarian vehicle which has been popular among buyers both from rural and urban markets. Bolero has a rugged design which makes it popular among modifiers too. We have seen several modified examples of Mahindra Bolero in the past and we have even featured some of them on our website too. Here we have a 2020 Mahindra Bolero that has been tastefully modified by Revheads from Chandigarh.
Pictures of this modified Mahindra Bolero has been shared on 4×4 India Facebook group. First impression after looking at the vehicle is that it looks a lot more aggressive and butch. Several changes have been made to the exterior to achieve this look. Starting with the front, the stock bumper of Bolero has been removed and replaced with a customised unit with skid plates.

The bumper also has couple of tow hooks and the LED fog lamps are also integrated into the bumper. There is also a ring shaped LED DRL around the fog lamp. No modifications or changes are made to the headlamp and front grille of Bolero. Moving to the side profile, the Bolero is installed with customised fenders that cover the chunky looking mud terrain tyres and steel rims. This modification is giving a wider look to the vehicle from the front.
Other changes on the side profile include a Jeep Wrangler styled ORVM with integrated turn indicators in it. It also gets an aftermarket foot step and it looks like the ground clearance of the Bolero has also increased because of this. On the roof, Revheads has installed marker lights. These are similar to what we have seen Hummer SUVs. Apart from these modifications are seen on the Mahindra Bolero. Even spare wheel at the rear is a Mud terrain tyre with steel rims.
Revheads have customised the interiors of this MUV. This Bolero gets a leather wrap on dashboard and steering wheel. The cabon gets tan finish. Along with leather wrap on the steering, it gets faux wooden inserts arounds AC vents, steering wheel and some parts of dashboard. Other major modification on the dashboard area is touchscreen Android infotainment screen with speaker setup.
The Bolero also gets power windows, central locking, tan coloured door pads and seat covers, roof lining and 7D floor mats. Overall look of the car as we mentioned above is quite imposing and the work done on the MUV looks very neat as well. Revheads maintained the basic boxy design of Bolero to give it that proper butch look. Coming back to Bolero, Mahindra had launched an updated BS6 version of the MUV with slight cosmetic changes earlier this year. It is available is B2, B4, B6 and B6 (O) trims. The MUV is powered by a 1.5 litre diesel engine that generates 75 Bhp and 210 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a manual gearbox option only.
