Hyundai Creta base E trim modified to look like top-end SX trim

Hyundai Creta has always been the king of mid size SUV segment in India. The new-gen Creta that was launched earlier this year is no different. It got an overwhelming response from the customers. Creta is now commonly spotted on our roads and number of modification options have also started to come in the market. In such a short span of time, we have seen several modified Hyundai Cretas across the country and here we have another base model E trim Hyundai Creta that has been modified to look like a top-end SX variant.

The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their youtube channel. The video starts by showing all the modifications that were done to the SUV. Starting at the front, the base model front grille was removed and replaced with a Hyundai genuine top-end model front grille. The owner has also gone for a front bumper protector which has a diffuser like design at the bottom. The diffuser area even gets red highlights.

The headlights now get HID lights. It also gets fog lamp along with air ducts next to it. Coming to the side profile, steel rims on the Creta have been replaced with 17 inch dual tone genuine Hyundai alloy wheels. Apart from that, it gets roof rails and rain visors with chrome garnishes in it. At the rear, Creta again gets a aero diffuser with quad fake exhaust tips in them. Just like at the front, it gets red accents here also.

The interiors of the SUV have also been redone. The seat use ultra soft cushioning material. The whole cabin gets dual tone finish to it. There is ambient lighting installed in the car as well. It gets 7D floor mats, all the four door have got 3 layer damping, Aftermarket speak setup as also been installed. Even the steering gets soft leather wrap on it with white stitching. The owner has also installed steering mounted control for the 10.1 inch touchscreen infotainment screen that was installed as part of the modification. The screen also shows feed from the rear parking camera. A sunglass holder with cabin lights have also been installed on the car.

The Creta after all these modifications, definitely looks like a top-end trim version. Hyundai Creta is available with variety of engine and transmission options. There is a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is available with manual and CVT gearbox option. This engine generates 115 Ps and 144 Nm of torque. Next is a 1.5 litre diesel engine that is available with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox option. This engine generates 115 Ps and 250 Nm of peak torque. The last engine is a 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine option which generates 140 Ps and 242 Nm. It is available with a 7-speed DCT gearbox only.

Hyundai is working on couple of new models and one of them is a 7-seater version of the Creta SUV. The 7-seater version is meant to take on the likes of MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XUV500 and upcoming Tata Gravitas. Hyundai is also working on a micro SUV and was spotted testing abroad.
