Kawasaki Ninja ZX10R Superbike And Ferrari Supercar Street Racing In India [Video]

What happens when a super bike rider meets a supercar on a national highway? Well, the answer is pretty straightforward. We get a drag race between the two. Recently, a Kawasaki ZX-10R rider came across a Ferrari 296 GTB supercar on the highway. Following this encounter, both started having an intense drag race on the public highway. The video showing these two engineering marvels racing has now been shared online.

This video of the drag race between a Kawasaki ZX-10R and a Ferrari 296 GTB has been shared on YouTube by Young Rider 5333 on their channel. It starts as a normal vlog where three Kawasaki ZX10R riders along with a Kawasaki Z900 bike were cruising on a highway. All of these bikes were seen doing over 160+ kmph speeds on the public road.

Soon after this, around the middle of the video, the bikers found a convoy of supercars. The first car that the vlogger spotted was a Porsche 911 Carrera. He then saw a yellow Porsche 718 Cayman. Finally, overtaking these supercars, he saw a Ferrari. This particular model was the Ferrari 296 GTB.

Drag race between the two

Soon after spotting the Ferrari 296 GTB, the rider and his friends came near the supercar. As there was too much traffic on the road, they were riding near the Ferrari. However, as soon as the road got clear, they both punched their accelerators. And because of this, a drag race started.

It can be noted that the Ferrari 296 GTB driver left behind the vlogger on ZX-10R. However, because of heavy traffic on the public highway, the biker caught up with him a few times. After going back and forth a few times, the biker and his friends left the Ferrari driver alone and overtook him.

Dangerous driving on public roads

It has to be mentioned that although the race was thrilling on video, these actions should not be performed on public highways. As seen in the video, the rider of the Kawasaki ZX-10R along with his friends was speeding recklessly.

At a number of different occasions, the speed of the bike crossed over 170+ kmph. Eagle-eyed viewers can also note that the bike even reached a top speed of 196 kmph as well. This obviously is an extremely dangerous endeavor to take on over public highways.

The video also shows how closely the bikes were overtaking other vehicles like cars, bikes, and trucks on the highway. They were passing them very closely, and one wrong move could have caused an extremely huge accident.

Now it has to be stated that it was not only the bikers’ fault in reckless riding. The Ferrari 296 GTB driver was also driving very dangerously on the road. He should not have challenged or accepted the challenge of drag racing a group of superbikes. He could have also been involved in a huge crash. Thankfully, no one was hurt in this particular video.

Ferrari 296 GTB and Kawasaki ZX-10R

As stated, the Ferrari in this video was a 296 GTB model. This new supercar from Ferrari comes equipped with a 2.9-liter V6 engine combined with an electric motor. It delivers an impressive 818 bhp, making it the most potent V6 engine ever produced by Ferrari.

As for the Kawasaki ZX-10R, it comes powered by a 997cc, four-stroke 4-cylinder petrol engine. The inline-4 engine is liquid-cooled and fuel-injected. It features twin overhead camshafts driving four valves on each cylinder. On the ZX-10R, this motor produces 197 Bhp of peak power at 13,000 rpm and 113.5 Nm of peak torque at 11,500 rpm.
