Triumph launches all-new Street Scrambler in India

Triumph India has launched the all-new Street Scrambler in India. The motorcycle is priced at Rs. 8.1 lakh, ex-showroom, Pan India. The Street Scrambler looks unique and gets a lot of equipment too.

The highlight of the Scrambler is the side-mounted high-exhaust, which is a stereotypical scrambler design. The Scrambler also gets an aluminum rack at the rear, removable pillion foot pegs, serrated front foot pegs and hangers, a bash-plate for the engine and an interchangeable rear seat as well. The Scrambler also gets a side mounted number plate that gives it a distinctive look.

The motorcycle gets ribbed Alcantara-style twin seat with contrast stitches with Triumph logo embossed on it. The motorcycle also gets new front mudguard mounts to fit the larger wheel. The bike is available in three colors – Jet Black, Matte Khaki Green and Korosi Red with Frozen Silver.

The Street Scrambler is powered by 900cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces a maximum power of 54 Bhp and 80 Nm of peak torque. Standard equipment includes ride-by-wire, switchable ABS and traction control system. The motorcycle gets wire spoke wheels that enable it to do light off-roading. There is 41mm KYB forks at the front and KTM twin shock absorbers at the rear. Both the suspension system can travel up to 120mm.

The motorcycle will take on the bikes like Scrambler Desert Sled, which is priced at Rs. 9.32 lakh in India.
