Ideas to modify the recently launched TVS Apache RR 310S sportsbike are already out on the internet. Julak Sendie Design, a Facebook page that deals with automotive renders, has put out two renders of the Apache RR 310S. These renders will give prospective owners of the bike an idea about what they can do to make their Apaches look even more sharper.
One of the renders shows the Apache RR 310S with racing slicks, different alloy wheels, new graphics on the fairing, and most importantly, a stubby exhaust.
The render also eliminates rear view mirrors to give the bike a totally clean look, both at the front and at the rear. This is perhaps how the race-spec Apache RR 310S will look like. If you’re an Apache owner looking to copy this render on a real bike, don’t try dumping the mirrors though.
Another render changes the graphics on the fairing, and the alloy wheel design, but the other bits are kept more or less similar to the former render. TVS Motors has managed to design a very sharp looking bike and we think that it is only a matter of time before modifiers around India and the world begin to use their imagination to make the Apache RR 310S look even better. These renders would be a good starting point for them.
Meanwhile, TVS Motors will start delivering the Apache RR 310S to the first customers who booked the bike in the next few days. For now, the bike is being sold through a select group of TVS dealerships around the country. Eventually, TVS plans to sell the bikethrough all its dealers in India. Priced at Rs. 2.05 lakhs, the Apache RR 310S is TVS Motors’ costliest bike ever.
It is powered by a 313 cc, reverse inclined four stroke, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine developed in association with BMW Motorrad. This engine produces 33 Bhp-27.3 Nm, and is paired to a 6 speed manual gearbox. The bike gets ABS as standard, and has Kayaba upside down suspension at the front, and a gas-charged monoshock suspension at the rear. The bike also gets a track-tuned trellis frame.
