We feel this is a pretty good discount and one can go for the manual variant in case he needs a full-size SUV at a really low price. Stay away from the automatic variant as it’s pretty sluggish.
Renault Captur – Rs 2 lakh
Another SUV that’s available with a huge discount is the Renault Captur. It’s available with a cash discount of Rs 2 lakh, which makes it quite an attractive option. Actually, the Captur has failed to impress the car buying lot. Hence, Renault India has started offering huge discounts on this model. Moreover, even the dealerships are offering some sweeteners to clear the inventory. All this makes the Captur a really good value-for-money product.
Honda CR-V – Rs 1.5 lakh
The current-generation Honda CR-V will be replaced with an all-new model by the end of this year. Hence, the company is offering a hefty price cut of Rs 1.5 lakh on the current model. Other than this, you can also bargain with the dealership to offer you some more discounts.
Honda BR-V – Rs 1.15 lakh
The Honda BR-V is another low-selling SUV that’s available with attractive discounts. These comprise of an exchange offer of Rs 50,000, free 1st-year insurance worth almost Rs 50,000 and accessories with Rs 16,000.
Mahindra XUV500 AT (pre-facelift) – Rs 1 lakh
Some units of the pre-facelift Mahindra XUV500 are still available with the dealerships. The Automatic variants of the pre-facelift XUV500 are available with discounts of up to Rs 1 lakh. The XUV500’s automatic gearbox is a smooth-shifting unit that makes driving on the traffic-infested streets quite a breeze.
Tata Hexa – Rs 1 lakh
While the flagship SUV from Tata Motors is a capable machine, it’s not selling very well. Hence, the company is offering benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh. The Hexa offers a comfortable cabin, a very powerful engine, and is a decent off-roader.
Nissan Terrano – Rs 65,000
The Nissan Terrano is available with a cash discount of Rs 30,000. You also get 1st-year free insurance worth Rs 25,000. There’s also a discount of Rs 10,000 for the government employees. This takes the total benefits to up to Rs 65,000.
Mahindra Scorpio – Rs 58,000
Most of the discounts available on the Scorpio last month have been carried over to this month. These offers are mostly available on the S5, S7, and S11 variants. All these variants get a cash discount of Rs 43,000. You also get an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. Furthermore, there’s a corporate bonus of Rs 5,300.
Renault Duster – Rs 55,000
The Renault Duster is a popular SUV that is now available with decent discounts. The 110 PS variant is available with a cash discount of Rs 30,000. You also get a free 1st-year insurance worth roughly Rs 25,000. This takes the total discount to more than Rs 50,000.
Ford Endeavour – Rs 30,000
The Ford Endeavour is a very capable machine that rivals the all-conquering Toyota Fortuner. Hence, it hasn’t been able to set the sales charts on fire. Ford India is currently offering a cash discount of Rs 30,000 on this full-size SUV. You can also get some corporate discount that should sweeten the overall deal.
