In the face of rising competition from other manufacturers, Toyota and Maruti have formally announced their partnership in the Indian car market. Both companies will share their expertise and technology. The two partnering companies are going to bring out a slew of hybrid, electric and regular cars. Also, the second car to come out of the partnership will be a top-selling compact SUV, the Vitara Brezza. Let’s now have a look at five speculative renders of the upcoming car. Feed your imagination, folks.
Sporty
This render shows how Toyota can make the Vitara Breeza sportier when it rebadges it. Most of the changes will be made to the front of the car. As apparent in the render, the company may redesign the bumper and remove any chrome garnish. Headlights, foglamps and even the tail lights may get sharper and angular to make the overall look sporty. The front grille is split into two parts and looks quite aggressive in this render.
Toyota DNA
Many auto companies are now following the design policy of keeping the basic styling same across all models or are maintaining the family design. Toyota is also doing the same as its new generation vehicles get an identical front end. This speculative render is inspired by the new Toyota RAV4. It shows how the compact SUV may look like if the company decides to make it follow the Toyota family design. On the front, a new grille with elongated fog lamps housing is present. Along with that, the bumper has also been redesigned to make it look more sporty. There’s also a wider scuff plate under the front bumper. This design makes the vehicle feel very different and fresh even though there are no major overhauls.
True-blue Toyota
This render shows how Toyota may completely redesign the front of the car to make it a true family car. The upcoming vehicle may get an all-black front grille with a redesigned lower bumper and faux bumper protector. Fog lights now sit higher compared to the original car. Even the headlamps have been updated with sharp cuts at the bottom and DRLs to give it a fresh look. Toyota may also bring in a dual tone effect similar to what the original Brezza gets. The nose is also protruding forward which gives a good stance to the vehicle.
RAV4 inspired
The RAV4 is among the first crossovers/compact SUVs of the world. Toyota recently revealed its latest iteration, the 2019 RAV4. This car is also available in many foreign markets. Toyota therefore could make its version of the Brezza look similar to the RAV4 and we would not be complaining either. This render directly lifts the front-end of the 2019 RAV4 and shows how it will look like on the Brezza. It looks quite good and would definitely make its presence felt on our roads.
Minimal
Though this wouldn’t happen most probably, Toyota might still bring in its new car by just rebadging the original Vitara Brezza. The reason for this possibility is that if Toyota wanted to quickly launch the product in India and save more costs, this would be a to-do thing. This render depicts how the car would look if it’s simply badge-engineered. As can be seen, the car looks exactly the same with just the Toyota branding to count as a change. In such case, it will really be tough to differentiate between the models on the roads.
