DC Design is quite popular in the Indian market for its off-beat designs. Here is a Toyota Fortuner modified by the North East wing of DC Motors and it sure looks brutal in its new clothes. The modification job is based on the older-generation Toyota Fortuner.

Fortuner 4

It is quite different from the Toyota Fortuner modified by DC earlier. It gets a new grille with elements made inside it. The all-black grille gets the DC logo on it. There is also a huge scoop placed on the bonnet of the Fortuner that gives it the masculine look. But it looks a bit overdone. Moving to the sides, the Fortuner gets flared wheel arches that get bolt-on to get the massive look. They actually increase the width of the Toyota Fortuner and make it look even more intimidating on the road.

At the rear, the only changes are the DC logo and the blacked out chrome parts. Also, it gets an aftermarket bumper at both front and rear. The modified DC Design Fortuner looks different and will attract a lot of attention on the road for sure but does it looks better than the stock version of the SUV? That’s for you to decide.

Fortuner 2

DC Design has not mentioned the price of the modification job but it can run into lakhs. DC Design is also popular for transforming the interiors of a car into expensive looking lounges. However, we are not sure if this Fortuner has received the same lounge treatment like the others. The last-generation Fortuner is liked and preferred by many because of its raw looks. With the modified looks, it will be dominating the roads. This Fortuner does not get extreme changes. The headlamps, tail lamps and wheel size remain the same as the stock.

DC also offers a different looking Fortuner modification that gets a very different kind of grille and front bumper. It also receives a totally different headlamp set-up with projectors and LED lamps inside. The new Fortuner modified by DC stays clear of all these features making it look a bit sophisticated. The last-generation Toyota Fortuner was also quite an off-roader and the modifications do not affect those capabilities.

In the past, DC Design has modified quite a few models including the popular ones like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and even Maruti Suzuki Swift and the Ford EcoSport. DC Design is one of the most renowned names in the Indian car modification circuit and they have also launched a few cars under their own brand name. While some designs from DC are outlandish to say the least, others are classy.

DC Design’s work on transforming the interiors of cars is much more sought after than just visual modifications on the outside. The design outfit has consistently demonstrated the ability to come up with bespoke luxury interiors even on mass market cars such as the Toyota Innova and the Mahindra Marazzo.  Prices for such modifications are under Rs. 10 lakhs.
