Royal Enfield is going very aggressive with their strategy in the Indian market. After launching the first-in-segment bikes like Royal Enfield Himalayan and Continental GT 535, Royal Enfield introduced an all-new 650cc engine powered Interceptor and the Continental GT 650 in the Indian market. Both the bikes have received an exceptional response from the market and Royal Enfield is expected to utilise the same engine in various forms of motorcycles. Here is a speculative rendering image of what the 650cc powered Bobber could look like when it launches in the market.

Royal Enfield will soon launch the Scrambler bike based on the Royal Enfield Classic. The Scrambler would be offered with both 350cc and 500cc single-cylinder engines from the brand. However, at a later time, Royal Enfield will also introduce the 650cc engine powered bikes in the form of the Himalayan and even the Classic series.

Royal Enfield will have to alter the chassis to fit the all-new parallel-twin cylinder engine in the Classic and the Bobber. SRK, who rendered the speculative render used the Interceptor bike as the base and added the modified parts to give it a bobber look. The rear shock absorbers have been replaced with a single monoshock and a new chopped seat was added that is good for a single rider. It also gets a slightly altered tank too.

The all-new 650 parallel-twin engine of the Royal Enfield gets parallel-twin set-up of 648cc, air-cooled engine that develops a maximum power of 47 Bhp and 52 Nm. The engine has been appreciated for its smoothness and it also gets a 6-speed transmission with slipper clutch.

Royal Enfield has been entering all-new segments for a long time now. After ruling the retro-modern bike segment for ages, Royal Enfield entered the adventure segment and then cafe racer segment. Royal Enfield Himalayan is the most affordable adventure bike in the segment while the parallel-twin powered Interceptor makes for the most affordable parallel-twin in the Indian market. The upcoming Bobber will be another most affordable product in the market too.

Royal Enfield has created a stronghold in the Indian market with their range of products. However, new manufacturers like Jawa have also started launching all-new products in the Indian market that is creating fierce competition. In the future, the market is expected to see a number of launches to take on the Royal Enfield bikes. Royal Enfield is also expected to launch the 650cc engine powered Himalayan in the Indian market. Officially, Royal Enfield has not commented on the possibility of such upcoming bikes but there are strong chances that these bikes will become a production version in the future.
