Mohammad Monsoor Khan, who is the prime accused in the scamming case that involves more than 23,000 investors has flown out of the country. Reportedly, Mansoor Khan is currently in UAE and he flew out on June 8, a day before the first complaint was registered against him in Bangalore. Soon after the complaint, an audio clip, allegedly of Khan himself was circulated on WhatsApp, which blew the lid off the scam. In the audio file, he was heard saying that he is on the verge of committing suicide because of the cops and authorities who have asked for bribes from him to set-up the bank.

The multi-crore scam of the I Monetary Advisory (IMA) is now being investigated by the Special Investigation Team (SIT).  The special team has already closed down the properties belonging to Mansoor Khan and has also seized his two cars. Mansoor Khan used a Jaguar XF and a Land Rover Range Rover as his daily vehicles in India and both of them have been seized by the SIT.

According to the reports, Mansoor used the Range Rover SUV to reach the airport on 8th June and his driver parked the vehicle at the airport parking and fled the spot. The Range Rover owned by him was registered in Puducherry, which has become a commonplace to register luxury vehicles to save the tax. Being a union territory, cars getting registered in Puducherry have to pay a lower tax compared to the neighbouring states. The car belonging to Mansoor is a white coloured Range Rover that gets powered by a 3.0-litre V6 engine. It generates a maximum power of 255 Bhp and 600 Nm. It gets an automatic transmission and is also a choice of the vehicle of many celebrities.

The SIT also seized the Jaguar XF, which is said to be the favourite car of Mansoor. It was parked at his residence when it got seized. The 3-year-old vehicle was often used by the prime accused. The vehicle seen here is a luxury sedan and gets powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine. It produces a maximum power of 177 Bhp and peak torque of 430 Nm.

In the coming times, SIT is expected to take strict actions against Mansoor Khan. Apart from the vehicles, more properties are expected to be seized by the team. This is not the first time when the authorities have seized vehicles of the law-breakers in India. Earlier, the authorities seized vehicles from Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi and even Vijay Mallya. Seizing the vehicles of such law-breakers is not uncommon in India and even banks who fail to recover the money from people seize the vehicles and then auction them off in the public. We are not sure if the vehicles of Mansoor Khan will get seized.
